Only those who have withdrawn their SOTs to external wallets will need to complete this task.
As you may know, our SOT tokens are currently based on the Ethereum network (ERC network). However, starting with Version 2.1.0, we will transition to the Polygon network to better support SOT owners in exercising their rights to swap SOTs for SGT. Below are the instructions on how to transfer your SOTs to the Polygon network:
*We recommend you to proceed on a computer or laptop for best screen view.
1. Install your wallet (the one you withdrew SOTs to) to your browser and log in. If you use Google chrome, you can easily find your wallet in the Chrome web store:
2. Access Polygon Portal:
3. Click Connect wallet to connect your to wallet which you installed in your browser:
4. Choose your wallet:
*Make sure to log in to your wallet 1st in order to connect successfully.
*Currently, Polygon Portal only support the wallets listed in the screen above. If you use a wallet which doesn't show here, you can import that wallet to METAMASK. You can follow this instruction.
5. Choose Bridge:
6. Fill in information for transfer request:
[1] Choose transfer from Ethereum
[2] Choose token SOT of your choice to transfer to Polygon
[3] Choose destination network is Polygon
=> After done, click Bridge SOTs to Polygon POS
Please pay attention to these information:
[4] Gas fee is in ETH. Therefore you need to have ETH in your wallet to pay for gas fee.
[5] Estimated time for this request to be completed
7. A pop up from your wallet will appear, please sign:
8. A request will take around 30 minutes to complete or longer depending on the sending amount. After submitting the request, you can access Transaction. You will see a pending request here and its status.
9. When the requested is completely processed, click on claim token and the SOTs will be transferred to your Polygon network within your wallet.
10. You will need to sign in your wallet again as it requests. If you have not imported the SOTs token into your polygon network in your wallet, please click on Add token. If you already imported the SOTs token into your polygon network in your wallet, click Cancel.
